Before you jump into it:
In order to use the Idea box to turn your Facebook campaigns into Google Performance Max campaigns, you need to have previously connected your Google Ads account in the Connect Platforms tab. We also recommend having launched at least one Google Search campaign from your account before generating a Google Pmax one so as to make the most out of the optimizations.

We’ve already made it easy to create ads across different platforms with Plai’s AI-powered ad creation tools. Once you input your prompt, Plai generates draft ads for every platform you're connected to, from Google Search to TikTok and LinkedIn.
Now, we’re taking it a step further! When your ads are likely to perform well on other platforms, the ‘Idea Box’ option will appear at your Ad preview inside the Advertise tab. By clicking on it, the entire ad will be automatically duplicated based on the best practices for Google PMax.
You can follow these steps for launching:
- Select Your Facebook Campaign: Go to the “Advertise” tab and choose an existing Facebook campaign from the preview or a Facebook Ad inside the Optimization Folders.
- Convert to Google PMax: Tap the Idea Box labeled and follow the steps for creating a Google PMax Campaign.
- Automatic Conversion: Plai will automatically pull the targeting, creative, and other elements from your Facebook campaign and convert them into a Google PMax one. Want to include video? Just paste your YouTube video links, and you can even add multiple videos to a single campaign. This includes everything from country-level targeting to zip code targeting.

All the ad copy, images, and videos from your Facebook ad will be formatted to fit Google’s requirements. All you need to do is make sure your Google account is connected, upload your brand logo, and hit “Create” to launch your campaign.
Why You Should Try ThisThis feature is perfect for anyone who has invested time in creating custom images or videos for their Facebook ads. Now, you can easily repurpose that content for Google PMax campaigns, reaching a broader audience without reinventing the wheel.
We’re not stopping with Facebook and Google. Soon, you’ll be able to turn your ads on Spotify, LinkedIn, and even Bing into cross-platform campaigns with ease. This is just the beginning of making A/B testing more accessible and effective across all digital channels.
